Great news! Now you can go into a shop and download Nike TV commercials directly to your PSP! It's why PSP was invented!

PSP advert shame

Dis is wicked, innit!

THERE IS LITERALLY NO POINT...
...in this. As with PSP itself, it seems like a good idea until you realise there aren't any games and that Nintendo is doing everything ten times better - and making it look easy. Are we missing the game demos on the content list? Is it really just for music and adverts?

I thought the Nike thing was a joke...

Over 30% of the content consists of Nike ads. Woops.

Hey well at least it ain’t Racist ads (RE: the last Sony controversy about white PSP), Nike seem pretty socially acceptable the even had that ad with the Fat bird dancing. Was that Nike?

Amazing, they must have just brought loads of PSP games out today all at the same time!

I just went into my local GAME and they have a load in stock....talk about flooding the market all at once.

I thought the PSP ws dead? Oh no that's the Xbox 360 and the Gameboy Advance.

My mistake

"Gameboy Advance."

It's actually quite amazing that you mention a system which is no longer for sale, lolf.

Creamyrabbit, were the games "Blaxploitation 3 : Jus' Fuggery, Bitch", "Hilariously bad film game 3" and "EA Compilation" by any chance?

Not that I really give a tinker's cuss about this as I neither own a PSP or live near any of the "spots", but I think it's pretty telling that gaming appears last in the list of the things the Playstation Spot offers ("Photo Music Video Game").

Why don't they just fucking pack it, no-one gives a flying fuck about the PSP anymore.
Blogger Evil Homer said...
Sony themselves realise the PSP is dead, the tag line of the new advert is "breath life into your PSP".

Don't they realise corpse re-animation is just summat in books and Cmdr Zorg's imagination?

I wonder how many of the people who continually go on about how dead the PSP is actually have one?
Blogger jawa said...
you know somethings a waste of time when they start giving it away with mobile phone contracts.

What if you could get the picture loans advert and CJ Slammer and Liamthegreat's adaptation of Knightmare on it, now that would be good.

I have a PSP. I even imported it from Japan on day one of its release. There have been no good games since Lumines. (And that was released shortly after launch in Japan). Tekken Dark Resurrection is pretty good(from a technical point of view) but the DS just gets better and better. I manage an indie games store and the PSP section just gathers dust. The only people who ever look at it are chavvy dicks, who are too fucking thick to be able to figure out how to get their 50 Cent MP3s onto the bleeding thing!

I'd like to say that the PSP is very much alive, thanks to DevHook and £20 2GB memory Cards!!! :D

At least with DevHook the cost of a game approaches its true value, and of course you can play these shitty games but without the glacial loading times of UMD. It's nearly win-win.
