UK:RESISTANCE 'main page'
A man sent in a link to this web site. Can you guess what's supposed to be SEGA about it?

"On the subject of airports and that, have you seen holiday website eDreams? They couldn't even be bothered to find a lower case 'D' to replace the capital 'D' in Dreamcast when they copied and pasted the font, so they just renamed themselves accordingly - Matt."

UPDATE: IT IS NOT AS BAD (AKA GOOD) AS MICROSOFT'S DREAMSPARK(TM)

This is the big one. This is SEGA suing Microsoft for $10 billion, winning, then ploughing the money back into a loss-leading hardware platform.

It's not as bad as Microsoft's DreamSpark:

Look, they have the spiral logo (blue European version) and font and everything!

This type of comment usually doesn't get put here, but anyway.

Played Grid on the PS3 with a Logitech wheel for a few hours this weekend. Grid PS3 and Grid 360 comparison; can't do, not seen 360 version. Was very good on the PS3 though. Sorry.

BUT - the logitech 900 degree wheel makes my Mircosoft wheel feel like something that comes out of a cristmas cracker. I can't even FEEL the 360 wheels "force" feedback now :-(

All in all - my favorite 'next gen' thing so far. 9.5/10.

Wanted to share that.

The background for that DreamSpark page also seems to have stolen the iconic graph paper background that was on all Master System game cases.

You mean I just spent the last hour trying to remember my bloody password for Google/Blogger only for Photoboy to post what I wanted to say?

Thanks God.

Yeah, same as grytpype, the first thing I spotted was the incredible likeness to the Master System boxart template grid thing.
But whatever, I love Windows but hate Microsoft for almost this reason alone

GRID on the 360 is exactly the same as the PS3 version just like every other cross platform game that comes out.

If you want the real benefit, get a pc and whack everything on high which is just instant console destroyer, and has the added benefit of you being able to run a dreamcast emulator.

Win.

Also the only thing i can think that that holiday site is related to sega, is, that everything's blue...

Otherwise i think the guy who sent it was really fucking confused.

Do i win a prize?

Yeah, but high-end-PC = several thousands of pounds. No can do. Lose.

My PC struggles with Windows XP and my photographs :-(

You mean your "drivers"?

SMEGHaMMeR, 'eDreams' is written in the same font as Sega used for Dreamcast. I know, when I noticed that I fell off the toilet.

Trilby - No. She found the 'drivers' file. Don't ask how, it can only be witchcraft.

So now it's the old zip file, rename zipped file ".pdf" trick. Can't be searched or opened, but can be the source of questions about 15Gb non functional pdf...
