UK:RESISTANCE 'main page'
Just when you think games are getting important enough for people to actually know what they're talking about, this happens.

46 seconds in. That bit where they're on the floating platform. That's Killzone 2. Now we know all modern games are about shit-boring bald space marines that all look and act the same, but it's still quite the embarrassment.

Nice to see them slip in the "broadening the market" spiel at the end, at least someone has been listening to Nintendo these last few years.

Looks like the Halo launch has been a bit crap too, probably because everyone got it at Argos last week.

Man! Do the BBC not know it's this generation's Star Wars? Pete said so! Instead they're showing footage of Star Fleet!

I wonder if I can find the music to Star Fleet? That was some good music. Star Fleet, Star Fleet, doot-doo... or something.

xazuxf - the disappointed sound I made when the much funnier word verfication letters vanished when blogger auto-logged me in. It was something like BJBJBW Boojaboojaboo! AHAHAHAA!

I noticed this last night too and started screaming at the TV. I should have known you lot would pick up on it.

This link shows the true ignorance of the beeb correspondents when it comes to gaming (near the bottom):

They'll never beat that time they let that dude who was applying for an IT job get on news 24. So why bother trying?

in the beeb's defence, it was only a brief bit showing killzone 2 - the bits before and after the wrong clip were still of halo 3 so it redeemed itself a teeny bit :)

besides, it's hardly sony showing off PGR3 as GT is it?

speaking of which, it's good to see the balance redressed somewhat.

the big question is was it done on purpose by the BBC's googliser?

stuqz: me on halo 3

Oh jesus, I got featured on UKR a few months ago, I managed to stay suitably cynical about it all. Get a grip Larry...;)

The Microsoft spokesrobot, unit Shane Kim clearly says "Well Halo 2 is going to be...etc"

Perhaps the beeb were using some other older footage. I feel another hefty fine approaching.

I didn't know about the postmodern bbc reporter reports on the game your playing edition, does it come with a plastic Guy Goma head.
