PS3 is the new hardcore. Good (or at least critically acclaimed) first party propping the overall library up, last in sales. Not long now and you'll see the emerging hardcore gaming audience worship PS3 for hosting games of extreme quality + commercial indifference while despising mainstream kings Nintendo and Microsoft. Subsequent blog sites trolling Nintendo and MS fans will follow.

Well at least that might shut up all those twats that keep posting how the PS3 does really well in the UK, as if it's the prefered console of the nation.

Well Sony's pretty much played all their ace's, MGS4, LBP, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Uncharted, PS Home and yet they are still at the bottom of the whole sorry heap. Only another over hyped 1st party PS game to go, which is God of War 3, and I don't see that suddenly changing their fortunes.

Read the pdf (in particular page 36) and you'll see just how well the ps3 is doing in comparison to other consoles - that 300,000 figure you think is so great is the only one where the ps3 beats anything else - and it's only edge's take on it that refers to it as 300,00, making it sound a lot - in the pdf it's a 0.3 difference in figures which maybe gives you a better idea of the true scale of this 'massive' figure. {Insert derogatory comment about yo mommas massive figure here for knuckle dragging triple-y chromasome yanks}.

Include the figures for the UK in that Europe figure (as you should) and you'll see the ps3 is 1 million behind - or maybe that should be put as TEN HUNDRED THOUSANDS for the hard of thinking?

You should also get your facts straight and understand the difference between total sales and sales growth. I think you'll find PS3 sales growth is a lot higher than the 360.
