UK:RESISTANCE 'main page'
Our long-standing obsession with the now-closed lost utopia of SEGA World Sydney continues, with this - a literally AMAZING promotional video explaining what lies (lay) within.

It is presented by a man who is the most Australian man imaginable.

It was themed on past, present and future zones, just like Sonic CD :(

RYAN ALSO COMPILED AND UPLOADED THE FOLLOWING LIST OF YOUTUBE DELIGHTS:
"G'day, I've been a reader of UK Resistance for a long time - since I was a huge SEGA fan back in the day. I keep trying to get away but they keep bringing me back in, then beating me with a pipe. Why won't they stop?

"Anyhow, I've recently added a whole bunch of classic SEGA bits from so many years ago, stuff that's never made it to YouTube beforehand, and will either make you laugh, or make you embarrassed to be a SEGA fan.

The Bizarre comedic stylings of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Filled with "WTF?"

It's that guy who used to own SFGHQ! Or maybe he still does. Haven't been there in ages. He probably banned me a few times when I was 13.

This posts commemorates me finally being bothered enough to create a blogger account so I can comment.

Hey Espy, yeah it's me ;P

I don't run SFGHQ anymore but I did run "Secrets of Sonic Team" over at http://sost.emulationzone.org for a while.

SFGHQ still exists, run by other chaps over at http://www.sonicfangameshq.com/

I currently run http://www.xblah.net - a Site for Xbox Live Arcade stuff :)

The best thing Ernie Dingo ever did was his contribution to the special effects exhibition at Sydney's Powerhouse Museum in the mid-nineties. Basically, you'd pay to get in, get given a blank VHS tape, put it into one VCR after another, and by the end you'd have a special effects extravaganza... with YOU as the star! Naturally, most of them were pisspoor -- there was one where you pulled on a rope and walked slowly across a painted "rock" floor (the camera was sideways to make it look like you were rock-climbing) and another had you holding your fist in the air with a great big fan blowing in front of you (camera sideways again to make you look like Superman).

But! There were only there to lower expectations so as to make the unlikely and intriguing occurrence of finding yourself minituarised and standing in Ernie Dingo's fridge that much more THRILLING. You had to stand behind a giant tub of margarine, look straight ahead and say a few lines aloud. When you got the tape back, you're standing on the shelf of a fridge, your voice has gone all squeaky, and all your lines turn out to be responses to Ernie Dingo putting his trademark energy and passion into lines like "Oi! Who's that?", "What're you doin' in my fridge?" and "Get outta my fridge!"

So, yes. "My mate Sonic the 'edgog". Beautiful.
