UK:RESISTANCE 'main page'
Someone send a news crew to Sutton Coldfield - some idiot's binned a Dreamcast. It's clearly a cry for help from some poor, disenfranchised video gamer.

Just blow the dust out of the connectors!!

"Saw this in a skip today in Sutton Coldfield. It was raining, so past being rescued. Boo hoo - Jamie."

No!

Dreamcasts are so easy to fix...Oh man, I wonder if it wasn't even broken. Oh the Humanity.

Damn...

They could have at least made a guitar out of it or something.

It might still work. I've rescued amplifiers from the rain before, let them to air a few days and they're good as new. It's worth a go.

I am speechless with sadness/quiet rage.

it can be saved! you must go back and collect it.

I wonder if you collected enough Dreamcasts together you could create some sort of clustered super machine!

How many DCs equal one xbox 360?

I threw away a Saturn once. It didn't work, but I still feel bad.

Posting that picture here is like printing a picture of Maddy's ragged and decomposing balloon knot on the front page of The Sun.

Dreamcasts are damn near invincible (I had one thrown at my head once, and it actually improved it's reliability!) so it might have been recoverable if allowed to dry :(

It could at the very least contribute to one of the many Dreamcast spare parts bank charities that exist in my diseased mind.

I'm looking for a UK power supply for my blown-up Japanese one, I bet that bit still works!

I agree with markus, my dreamcast laser was dying and one point so kinda battered it a bit and it perked right up. Command respect from your consoles. Doesn't work with playstations tho, obviously..Due to the poor quality cdr media back in the day, my second dreamcast's laser also died a bit. I can't run res anymore. And here there are people throwing perfectly good lasers away =[ It's madness..

Deja vu, we meet again... I went back to visit my parents/brothers over easter, and they were clearing out the house to move. They'd thrown my Dreamcase, Megadrive AND snes out.
I've never cried like I did

Evidently Gamestation do not hold an exclusive patent on destroying perfectly workable* games systems.
