Anyway, my investigation lead me to ask Amazon whether they're just taking as many PS3 pre-orders as they can or only up to the amount they've been allocated. It's the latter. And they're still pre-ordering. Didn't Wii pre-orders sell out in 7 minutes on Amazon?
