UK:RESISTANCE 'main page'
The winter of 1995. Such great Saturn games, such promise. Surely PlayStation wouldn't stand a chance against SEGA's amazing three-way attack?! Who could resist Virtua Cop, SEGA Rally and Virtua Fighter 2? It's like the Mega Drive all over again!

That's how we should all remember it. Let's also remember those games coming out in time for Saturn's launch, or at least in time for Christmas. Here's a woman with big arms playing Virtua Cop.

"It is a video of Andy Crane and some Gladiators playing and reviewing Saturn games on a cack show from back in the day. But for me that is like porn. Hope you get it this time, Cheers!" - Father K.

It was quite enjoyable, but it would've been PHENOMINAL if Wolf was in it instead.

That video reminded me how we are in a nightmare reality where Sony killed Sega's console supremacy. We can only imagine that there is an alternate reality where Dreamcast 2 exists.

You gotta love this as well...another classic from Bad Influence.

64 Bit !! , still don't know how Atari managed to get away with that false advertisement

I used to love this show. Especially the edgy, urban-style set design.

Neither of those Gladiators are Jet. I am most disappointed.

"They've spent months trying to cram in all the SPRITES." Into Virtua Cop! Arrest those pixies!

I've never seen a TV presenter suck the life out of something so pure like Andy Crane does. Enter Sonya Saul.

Um, actually Vogue, you CAN tell who's shot who because the impact flash thing is a different colour for each player. Virtua Cop is CLEARLY better in two player (or one player with a gun in each hand, hur).

And Rhino doesn't seem to understand you that you're supposed to AVOID the walls.

I think the end fight shows clearly that girls shouldn't play video games.

Rhino is actually from my neck of the woods in west London. Saw him park up his BMW on the high street once and go into Blockbuster. His number plate was "BIG PECS".

On the one hand I'm glad that Violet Berlin wasn't in this clip, and yet I'm a little saddened that Jet wasn't either.

However, she is in this one (Jet, that is, not Violet Berlin):

I didn't have the Gladiators sticker album, but I made damn sure I had all the Jet stickers. And a Scorpio one.

This has become my new favourite phrase:

"You gotta watch out for the powerslide, it's tricky..."

Incredible stuff
