UK:RESISTANCE 'main page'
Some crazed youths have made their own versions of a few Sonic tunes. They sent it in. We feel obliged to recognise their work. You can download it here if you want. It's 4.24MB of slightly out-of-key yet rather relaxing Sonic music.

Making Of... Sonic Medley

"Here's some music that I know you guys will appreciate. Arranged and performed by myself (Ciaran McCrisken) with percussion by my good friend Kevin Carlisle. I've included some 'making of' photos (i.e. screen dumps of Pro Tools)."

Making Of... Sonic Medley

"Please forgive the stoned out, sloppy version of the Bonus Stage music. I should've double checked the tempo of it before playing but it was a last minute decision to include it. Anyway, enjoy! - Ciaran."

It's refreshing to hear something that's not remixed from Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger. Well done sirs!

Wow. That's certainly... something.

Its almost like a badly executed not as good version of something that's already been made!

I like it!

How do you manage to be out of the beat with an all MIDI arranging, through ProTools?!?

Sounds alright after six cans.

How on earth did you manage to get everything so out of time?

This is a new low for UK:R. And that's saying something.

I'm actually starting to believe that they intentionally tried to make it sound lame.

Wow, this is some really oldschool Sonic music!

By which I mean, this song makes Sonic sound like he's quite elderly and yet still struggling with Key Stage 3.

Robotnik is probably scheming to steal his pension plans or somesuch.

There must be a 'Randomise' button. There must be, or there is no God.

I see it's a mixed bag of reviews. In our defense we weren't allowed to use MIDI for this project and it was all done in about an hour. Everything you see it Pro Tools is audio tracks, not MIDI.

As for the bonus stage music, well that's just pure crap to be honest. No defense for our murdering of it.

A long way to Richard Jacques' standards. I'd love to hear what he could do with Green Hill.
