RETAILERS RAPING Wii CUSTOMERS
Everyone's doing it. Any company with Wii stock is making a killing right now. It's brutal out there.

And a couple of these bundles are sold out. People are falling victim to this crime. PS: We were investigating Wii prices and availability in the hope of buying a few to sell on for profit, NOT to buy and own.

Gamestation were selling a Wii for £500+ with like 10 games that nobody would even consider buying now (ninjabread, excite truck etc). Assholes.
I can't tell from the pictures, but is one of the games Wii Play in these packages or is there an extra controller?
It seems to me that they only have one wiimote. I really would feel like I'd been bummed if that's the case.
Dixons are shiite anyway. Anyone with half a brain knows they haven't got a clue about electronics, the staff are thick as pig shit.
Bollocks to all this. What about Ken Kutaragi getting a lifetime achievement award?
I'm not going to link to the article or anything. That's what Google is for. Try typing something other than 'Tits' 'Minge' and 'Donkey' into the search bar for once. You'll be surprised what pops up.
you think dixons is bad look at this one

glad I got mine a while ago (I still play on my saturn so I dont feel too dirty)
zgsjvliz - the sound made by the average punter when they see the price of a wii
@phorenzik: Is the award from Sega in recognition of Kutaragi's excellent work sabotaging the design of the PS3 with the overly complex Cell processor, expensive backwards compatibility, out of date nVidia graphics chip, useless memory card readers and slow Blu-Ray drive?
I recently wrote an article filled with useful advice of how to get get hold of a Wii this Christmas, hopefully it can be of use to some people -

Not surpriseing that retailers are forcing bundles though, that's how supply and demand work.
"Companies in the business of making money, attempt to make as much money as possible in absolute NON-SHOCKER!"
but are the pants actually made of smarties? Because if they are this is a GOOD DEAL.
@the phantom chef
"person in posting a predictable comment about how companies are in the business of making money to people who already fucking know that but still have the right to think the bundles are a complete thundercunting ripoff in absolute NON-SHOCKER!"
Anyway planning on entering a Dixons store sometime soon should wear one of these http://www.rapestop.net/
My mate lent me his, still has the 169 quid sticker on the side, not to rub it in, the nasty bastard! I fancied one but those c**ts at Nintendo said "Oh sorry there MIGHT be a shortage!", so all the money grabbing retailers thought f**k it, at least add on a 100 quid and if possible chuck in some old shite games left over from the original rush. Oh sod it, whack on two hundred quid. There's enough screaming kiddies to pester their gullible parents desperate to get little Johnny that special present, that all his mates will also have anyway, they'll fly out out the stores.
F**k it, I'm waiting till February. 2nd pay packet of the new year and they'll so many left on the shelves, they'll be paying me to take the buggers away!

Its weird that wii's are in such short supply in blighty, we've loads in Sweden, just sat on shelves. Xbox Elites though.. can't get them :(
I was in Paris yesterday - no shortage in France at all! Will be bringing a few back next week to sell on fleabay!
I was just talking to a couple of people I know who are just opening their own Games Shop, apparently, they are being forced to buy Wii bundle packs by their supplier, so it appears nintendo themselves are quite possibly the ones responsible...
GAME are doing this, however it's entirely possible, and indeed encouraged, to rape them back. As it were.
They frequently have Wiis in stock online, but only with dire games like Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam AT FULL PRICE.
So order it online then go to your local game store for a 7 day refund on the naff games! Bingo, one shiny new Wii. This worked way back in January, and no, I feel precisely zero guilt over shafting GAME back for their shameless price gouging.
