PS3 KILLZONE -- SONY LIE WATCH PART 2!
These "PlayStation3" Killzone pics are more OBVIOUS LIES of what Sony says its PlayStation3 is capable of, for you to save - then RUB IN THEIR SMUG LIFESTYLE-BRANDED FACES when the machine actually arrives.
Obviously, sane people like us lot are fully aware that a console which won't be on sale for another YEAR is unlikely to have been sitting in a development office in fully completed form for the last six months so a bunch of averagely-talented developers can copy Halo 2.
That goes without saying, right?
So this isn't real then, is it?
Please post this image on internet forums and say how it OBVIOUSLY isn't real time. We would, but really can't be bothered going through the registration processes required.
We recommend pointing out that anyone who thinks PS3 games will actually look like this is a "lamer" who, quite possibly, "sucks hard". You earn double points if the person saying it's real is a 35-year-old games journalist who really ought to have learned about how things work by now.
Anyway, we're off to dream about flipping open a Revolution and fingering its holes.

Psh. Idiots. First off, Halo 2's graphics were the exact same way- looked kick arse from what was shown, then ended up being less than extraordinary on the gamescreen. Secondly, this game is much more akin to games like Alien vs. Predator 2 than Halo 2, as Halo 2 really isn't that good of a game for anyone to really want to copy off of. Now, the original Halo: Combat Evolved, being that it's better than Halo 2 gameplay wise, would make more sense if you were to assume that Sony would wanna copy off of something else. However, Killzone 2 is simply that: a sequel. It's got a damn good storyline of its own, and to be perfectly honest, I'd view it to be more akin in style to Warhammer 40K than any other game out there. So before you decide to classify it as a rip off of Halo 2, make sure you do your homework. Know what you're talking about before you say it.
i just like to say that sony said that this was all real, killzone 2 graphics and everything. Now they have come out to the public and told us this so if the graphics arnt what they should be when you get the concel then many people will lose trust in sony and not buy there products so why wouldnt these graphics be the real thing?
I mean come on sony owns everything i think they should know a few things about what you should and shouldnt say about your product so i think that sony is being vary true and the graphics are real.

Actually, I almost rarely watch television at all. In addition, I'm not a "blind fan" of EA, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, or whatever other labels happen to be out there. I speak this way because I LIKE the game, because it, like the original Halo, is actually rather fun to play. I've never been one to support companies or brands simply because of the logo they wear, or because of any sort of popularity thing they've supposedly got going on. I thought Halo 2 wasn't all that great because of the fact that the original Halo had kicked so much ass in the beginning that when Halo 2 hadn't come close to the hype that it had lived up to, it was just like, "What the hell?" There was very little storyline to it, or at least, anything that had drawn me in like the original Halo. Now, as for the footage, yeah. I'm thinking it might be in-game, if for no other reason than the fact that the way the camera moves is exactly the way it does in the original Killzone game. As for the graphics, well... I'd easily say you're merely intimidated by them. They're great, to be sure, but too good to be rendered in-game on a console that's not launching it till a year later? There's other PS3 games with better graphics. Understand, though, that the makers at Guerilla intend to make the best out of the PS3's graphics abilities, just as they did so with Killzone on the PS2. The cinema cutscenes were by far MUCH better than those in Halo 2, almost ungodly so. I'm thinking that they can at least get comperable graphics in the PS3's gameplay, if nothing else, and provide us with even more stunning cutscenes for Killzone 3. And yes, this IS the video trailer for Killzone 3. Killzone 2 is being released for either PSP or PS2, so with any luck, we'll get a better idea of what Guerilla's been working on for the past year and a half. At this point, you might be thinking something along the lines of, "Yeah, what a load of bull" or "Pathetic. Totally a stark-raving fan", but consider this: the only games I buy, really, are the ones that few out of the populace have dared to play, but almost all who played are almost mad for, and the majority of those have been for X-Box. (Breakdown is a personal favorite, if for no other reason than the humorous dialogue)
hey who said creating a game trailer or clip of a game a year ealier such as killzone2 or 3 would be rubbish? ha! thats bullcrap! sony has done it b4 and they have done it again! creating a clip of a game is possible if a small tiney bit is shown! which it was only 2 min n somthing for a whole game! and seriously why the hell would sony create a video of what the ps3's qualaties which was fake? and then when it comes out ppl find that out and spread the word and the whole of playstation company is bankrupt......that is complete crap.......as for the halo copying ha!... ever noticed how microsoft creates a console close to the ps2? but on a flat side similar to the ps1? ever wonder how microsoft creates a xbox 360 that can stand flat and on the side SUCH AS the PS2? aaaaand create a second installment same time as the ps3 instead of waiting 5 or 6 years apart like SONY DID if u ask me personally i think microsoft are the ones copying the sony industry....my word for all of them .......SONY WANNABIES

Sorry but I’m afraid your wrong about Sony being crap they have in fact out classed Microsoft's Xbox 360.Killzone 2 Video looks like it took 6 months to make but if you think about Hacking into Sony or guerrilla’s main computers you could find something out about the game and get a look at the game play. But I would not do it of I were you. There is also a something going around on the internet saying that
There’s some new super computer chip in the PS3 which allows it to do a lot of things any other computer console can’t do.

Well, how fucking stupid do you feel now that the actual game looks--at the very least--just as good or--in some areas (such as lighting)--way better than the original target render?
