50 MILLION PLAYSTATION1 CONSOLES RECALLED BY SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT JAPAN
Following persistent reports of problems with PlayStation1 video game consoles, SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT has announced a complete product recall of all PlayStation1 machines.
The problems reported have included:
Machines over-heating Faulty CD mechanisms resulting in machine needing to be operated vertically 'Folding' of displayed polygons Poor performance when displaying 2D visuals Lack of identifiable mascot character
Please return your faulty PlayStation1 machine to the outlet from which it was purchased.
