SONY ADMITS TO MAKING IT ALL UP
New corporate logo embraces the company’s core value of TELLING LIES ABOUT EVERYTHING.
Unbelievable. Quite staggering, but good to see it owning up for once. Another notch for the Sony’sĀ TERRIBLE ERROR bed post. Sent in by a “Chris” who has nothing better to do than reload Kotaku all day.
If anyone fancies knocking up a few, the font to use is Century Gothic at about 35 point size.

I liked “Go Create”, in connection with passively watching television.

Bit of a PSD by you, M.Zorg. If you turn up the brightness on your monitor (or look at it from above, if it’s LCD), you will see that the Sony font is on a black background and then the whole thing is on a sort of mucky brown* background, so the whole world can see how, and where, you did the cutting and pasting.

RE Glen Slagg,
Which logo are you talking about? The make believe one (the actual logo, not a made up one in my head) is already on Sony’s investor relations Website: http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/IR/
If it was up to me I wouldn’t use a tag line, I’d just have a picture of that weird kid with the scary eyes that said “And conquered worlds” on their old adverts.

I know what he means. There’s no hiding from men with low colour depth monitors.

Now you’ve fixed it, making me look like a cunt. Luckily, I am a cunt, so that’s all right then.

I didn’t realise my monitor was low colour depth until this FIASCO. It’s part of the laptop so I can do nowt about it.

And I didn’t realise that my monitor was high colour depth until this all kicked off. Especially given that I bought it with my own money (being self unemployed), it only cost 5500 Swedish Kronor and it is a highly unfashionable Toshiba. I feel quite pleased now, I might have accidentally got a bargain.
Also, when I checked the graphics properties, just now, I noticed that I have a choice of two fantastic scan rates – 60Hz or 59Hz. Currently using 59Hz as I don’t want to push the technology too far.

I’ll be knocking out a few tonight as I do every night, but why do I need Century Gothic font?
