Second...Sony...PLEASE stop trying to be 'hip'. Please START focusing on product and games and opening a REAL dialogue with your users to make your gaming products better.

I've owned a PS1 (2) and a PS2 (3 of em...quality issues) but have held off on the PSP because of your ability to launch technologies and then dump them or make them unusable (UMD). Why the heck did you not a: make UMD burnable like with minidisc and b: force game makers to tighten their code so load times would be less (we know it can be done).

So...in summary...

1. Come out and identify yourselves as Sony and asks for and listen to your user base comments.

2. Make UMD burnable ASAP and include UMD discs with DVD/BR/HD movie releases for 2 or 3 bucks extra

3. Build in ALOT more memory on the PSP or GIVE me a bigger Memory Stick

4. Make PS1 games downloadable without the PS3 NOW.

I bought a PSP when it first came out and have had nothing to show for it. No games, no fun, nothing. I finally got rid of it at Blockbuster for $90. Yeah, I lost over $400 on the system, memory card, and games, but at least I'm rid of it.

Boo to Sony. I'm glad to be rid of the PSP, and in no way will I be touching a PS3.

Sony admitted in late 2005 to hiring graffiti artists to spray paint advertisements for the PSP in seven major U.S. cities including New York City, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. The mayor of Philadelphia has filed a cease and desist order and may file a criminal complaint. According to Sony, they are paying businesses and building owners for the right to graffiti their walls.[14]

You know, between Gears of War, Zelda, WiiSports, Lost Planet, and the whole truckload of quality titles premiering for the little handheld that could (read: not PSP), I don't even think I have time or any money left to purchase your junk handheld.

As a former employee of Best Buy, I saw firsthand how many parents came in, bought their kids a PSP vs. how many people actually bought games for it. They're all just collecting dust on people's shelves, or being used for illicit purposes.

Let's face it folks, PSPs are utterly worthless unless you hack the thing. Downgrade your firmware to 1.50 and install Devhook 0.5.1 and emulate Firmware 3.02 - swapping between the two rocks. And you have ISO support now.

Hack your PSP.

I love my PSP! I can download movies from my computer onto my PSP and watch them anywhere! It has really cool games too, like that new Mortal Kombat game - it's so cool! FATALITY! LOL

People idolize over Haruhi Suzymiya because she acts like a guy. You ever wish you could have a girl as a friend, just to hang out with like one of the guys? A girl that would have the same interests as you, the same enthusiasm, the same keen observations and sense of adventure? How about a girlfriend that you could just hang out with, have fun with, and not have to listen to her whine and complain and leak. Haruhi Suzymiya is that ideal 'hang out with' girl. She has fans because she has all the best traits of a guy friend you can hang out with, only she happens to be a girl. Understand that when people idolize over Haruhi Suzymiya, they idolize over the personality of a cool guy friend in a girl's body- an ideal friend/partner who has the best of both worlds, and would be nearly impossible to find.

Hmm. Funny that. I've got this DS web browser thing with me right now, and I can browse the internet just fine with it. The touch screen, in case you're wondering, is very handy as far as browsing is concerned. And hey! There are actually more than five good games for my DS too!

No crying here, I'm afraid.

But that's beside the point. I really just come on here to express my dismay at this site. It really is pathetic, and the last straw as far as I'm concerned. I refuse to buy products from a company that's so repeatedly duplicitous in the way it promotes its products - not to mention the rootkit fiasco.
