Judging by last year's success rate, we couldn't have been more wrong if we'd said that time travelling technologically advanced chickens from the future would come back in time and declare war on Humans for years of abuse, while dogs start evolving the ability to speak and use their pack-hunting skills to defend their beloved Human masters from the chicken invasion - just in the nick of time, as the chickens were perilously close to victory and nearly wiped out all of mankind by pecking their way through power lines and nuclear weapon fail-safe mechanisms. Let's see how we see 1999 happening:

Jon's predictions for 1999:

Dreamcast has a stunning early Euro launch at the end of August priced at £199, with Sega Rally 2 and Sonic Adventure selling large quantities (both feature improvements over the Jap versions) It's the British designed games that really have gamers drooling though.

SOE set up a Euro based internet Dreamcast gaming league.

All of the above fail to come true, as the world comes to an end on August 11th 1999.
