Either way – nice try, but he’s still got a long way to go before he can top that truly amazing papier mache sonic from a while back.

Positive things, positive things… Well first up the size of the pictures is impressive. Secondly, I actually think this is one of the better Sonic suits I’ve seen in a while. Sega obviously think so too because they appear to have assigned a minder who standing in the background suspiciously eyeing the child’s interaction. It’s hard to tell but I can see he has a German flag on the arm of his jacket and what looks to be a sub-machine gun slung over his shoulder. No doubt ready to gun down any errant child who insists on kicking Sonic up the bum while he’s trying to take his lunch break. Finally, in regards to the balloon man, although it’s unfortunately only part of a costume to make him look bigger, I applaud the wearing of a top hat to any special occasion.

Also, Sonic is not trying to ‘blow’ himself, his penis is blue and can be seen in the second shot.

I ‘entertain’ my kids by making a deformed yet somehow tediously uniform balloon ‘dog’ thing. I’ve clearly got to get loads of practice in to reach that stunning level.

Mind you, the more effort I put into the balloon creature, the more the little shits enjoy stamping on it, so I may well not bother
