Hmmm. I’ve just noticed that the forum topic where the T2G rep followed one of the regulars onto the board has mysteriously vanished. Even though it won’t expire for another 2/3 years (the board clears topics that are 4 years old). Criticism of T2G vanishing from a company’s official forum?

We’ve just received a load of junk mail from train2gamemail.co.uk this morning, all sent to various local councillors, so I’m adding both their domain and originating IP address (92.60.98.112 (plus 113-119 for good measure) to our blacklist. Think I’ll do the same for their website if I haven’t already done that (I’ll doublecheck).

Turns out they visited one of my friends today. He said the salesman was somewhat vague about the specifics of the course and that he was unsure about whether to commit £5000 to the course (he really wants to be a games developer).

By the way, I have just made an interesting discovery on T2G’s Facebook page.

They’ve put up a copy of their ruling against Google, and the judge is none other than The Honourable Mr Justice Eady. If I had to hazard a guess, I’d say it’s because the wording on that page suggests Rebellion has been paid as a “consultant” by T2G in exchange for precisely that sort of positive quote, so T2G can put it on the literature they supply (alongside the literature they take off freeware sites) to try and impress gullible people by associating their non-degree with a “famous” brand.

But that’s just a guess. Feel free to educate us otherwise.

I’m sure Rebellion would love to get drawn into T2G’s rabid internet reputation management actions.
