You gotta love the way Sony have arrogantly and brazenly thrown away a whole generation of their games console just to get Blu-ray players in people’s homes.

Their contempt for the gaming community and industry is admirable.

As much as it deeply pains me to say this, I suspect the drop in sales is due to stock of the 60GB PS3 drying up as people wait for the launch of the alleged slim PS3. So I’m not even able to get semi-hard at this news.

Of course Sony are still doomed. There’s no way a slim console can change the fact that they’re a distant third this generation, and losing ground every day. OK that’s done the trick, time for some tab remorse.

So does that mean that the 360 is even deader? Are we all going to be at the mercy of Nintendo until somebody brings out another console that people will actually buy? :(
